hello-ween

here i go again.
blogger really gets on my nerves sometimes. but i forgive it for being so idiot-proof.
anyway, halloween is tomorrow! but being the very boring people that we are, this halloween will be pretty much the usual sunday affair, except for Gwenda. Happy 19th Birthday!! (sorry i wanted to make the 'Happy 19th Birthday' bigbig but the idiot-proof toolbar isn't displayed on my browser so i can't..) i wonder why we don't commemorate halloween. last time my caucasian neighbours would carve dozens of jack-o-lanterns and hang them on their gateposts, and me and my bro would gaze longingly at them, wishing that we too could have fun with pumpkins. i haven't even gone trick-or-treating before, much less carve a jack-o-lantern. i can just imagine what my parents would say to that if we asked them- "pumpkins are only good for making pumpkin soup" or "i think the neighbours are going to slam the door in your face if you're going to show up under our tablecloth". well, the furthest i've gone is to a halloween fancy dress party. and it was good fun! nj held a halloween party yesterday. hc held a mid-autumn festival celebration last month. rj- well, the only celebration it'll hold is when rj is crowned top jc in singapore(again).
